Professional Development & Education
The East Bay Chapter of IFMA supports the mission of IFMA to "Advance the facility management profession" primarily through knowledge sharing and professional development programs for facility professionals in the East Bay Area.
A portion of that is accomplished by providing training for our members to achieve the CFM, FMP and SFP designations offered by IFMA. Another is via networking opportunities for our members, making local service resources available to professional members via our chapter sponsors and other member companies. Please contact our Sponsorship Committee to express you interest in becoming an IFMA East Bay Sponsor. If you are interested in presenting at a chapter program, please contact our Programs Committee or Education Chair.
The East Bay Chapter of IFMA supports research efforts, educational programs and resources, professional certification, a network of experienced and emerging professionals and facilities management service providers, networking and professional development events, for corporate and organizational facility managers in developing strategies to manage human, facility and real estate resources in the greater San Francisco East Bay Area.
Representing more than 19,000 members, IFMA focuses its efforts on leading and sustaining the progress of the profession, while also advancing the careers of individual members. Chapters allow you to interact with other workplace professionals locally. These groups within the IFMA community bring Association resources directly to you, making your membership experience more personal.
